Aromatic Lavender • Creamy Vanilla • Soft Honey • Oatmeal • Gentle Herbs

You enter the courtyard just as the last sunlight reaches the lavender beds. Your hand brushes the flowers along the path, releasing their bright herbal scent. Bundles cut that morning hang beneath the covered walkway.

An open kitchen door lets warmth into the evening air. Inside, a bowl of oatmeal waits on a wooden table, steam rising from its surface. You sit and stir in a spoonful of honey. Creamy vanilla mingles with the oats as the honey melts.

Through the doorway, you can still smell the lavender. Up close, the drying bundles carry a deeper scent, green stems and fragrant flowers warming beneath the roof.

You wrap your hands around the bowl. Somewhere across the courtyard, a bell sounds. You finish another spoonful before getting up to close the door, leaving it open just enough for the lavender to reach you.
